Nritya Mandala Mahavihara Library

Our Portland Baha center houses a library of publications on Nepalese Buddhism, sacred arts, history, language, culture, and more. Our library contains traditional and modern Newar Buddhist texts and translations as well as scholarly works on many aspects of the Newar religious culture and arts.

The library also contains an altar to Tara, the mother of all the Buddhas, and various statues, ritual objects, and musical instruments.

The library is open to visit during events, or by appointment. We also hold some of our programs in the library, including our children’s workshops and music classes.
